Noooooo, another new website, made by an OS4-basher and morphos-fanatic. Same procedure. He was banned from aw.net and is back. I am not amused. Target is to bring morphos to PowerUp - users before OS4 is ready for bppc and csppc...

And nothink realy interesting about bppc/cppc. Not any triks, not any new texts. Create not for infomation, but for .. don't know for what :) but anyway, looks pretty nice. Style as big company :)

Where is warpos mailing list archive for example ? Glare demo, _NOT_ classic demo, but PegasOS only.. Where is ppc programming corner ?:)

So, nothink interesting, only pretty nice style and pictures :) Need more info, forum, etc,etc

> New Web Site

It's pretty much the same as what is available through webarchive from the old phase5-website.

Glare _IS_ a classic demo. It runs on my BPPC under AmigaOS.

Maybe because its not released? The Beta for A1 doesnt count.

Yes, sure. And a non released os for a virtually non existing machine is, right ?
Go and write an installer - at least that. Please.

Sorry, trolling. I am sick of this.

Do you have a license or a written agreement to use the Amiga brand on your amiga os website, BTW ?

Utter crap, have you actually used OS4? I wouldn't call it a "beta" by any stretch of the imagination.
Nice website, naff attitude.

Sort it out mate

erm . . . maybe because OS4 is NOT still available for PowerUP?

@ all

although i partially agree, about the "hidden/commercial reason" why they have released MOS for PuP . . . . may i say WHO CARES?

Its an opportunity to use your PowerUP cards with a native, free PPC OS.

Wheres the problem?

@DJBase

maybe would be better to REMOVE the link to DCE, as "Manufacturing of phase5-Products in license. Also Developer and Manufacturer of other Amiga-Products."

At least for respect to all the users, who has been ripped from them.

Strange - I could have sworn that I'd got the first comment on this news item last night... did I get moderated? It was only an innocuous "Impressive... most impressive..." comment... perhaps I suffered from "Preview Confusion"?

In any case, it's a very impressive site, with lots of interesting information. I had to laugh at the coincidence of this appearing at almost the same time as I posted a thread about some Phase5 G4 accelerator documents which I'd just rediscovered... shame there's no section on PPC vapourware!

(Mental note: make sure you select "Post Comment" before clicking the "Go!" button...)

@LottaRosie, who said:
"another new website, made by an OS4-basher and morphos-fanatic"

I could see NOTHING that is anti-OS4, and MorphOS hardly gets a mention. Personally, I think it's a nice site, if mainly for nostalgic purposes.

And it seems quite reasonable to not mention OS4 yet, since I don't believe that the BPPC version is available to the public.

@PowerUP:
Guess why it's called "Pre-Release"...
You can acutally go and buy an AmigaOne and you will get AmigaOS4.0 (Pre + Update 3).
This is nomore Beta just only for Betatesters.

And where can I get the developer pre-release for PowerUp cards? Right. I can't. It's not available yet.
That site is for classic PPC card stuff ONLY, not AmigaOne, not Pegasos, not Troika or anything else for that matter. As soon as OS4 for PowerUp gets *publically* available, it WILL be added to the site...
Sigh... Another conspiracy theory down the drain...

And BTW, you can't buy an AmigaOne, that's why we're all waiting for that Troika board.

Both PowerUp and WarpUp kernels have been dead for long time now. However, PowerUp programs work under WarpUp anyway so where is the problem?
