| That's a great idea.
Maybe also people without "Design skills" could give suggestions about what they would like and what they don't ?
- One of my favourite would be a "more accessible and visible" Search button...
- Then it may look nice (but not necessary at all) if the event section could be sorted depending of where you live (stored in a cookie set in User Profile)... If you live in UK, then events in UK will appear first followed by the rest of Europe, then US, etc. for example...

| I agree, the "Search" button should be next to the "Home" or "User account" button on the top of the page. Or, at last, on top of the "Extras" list.
Ther is nothing more frustrating than searching for th search engine of a web site !! |

| The fact you need to search at all suggests something is wrong with the interface _________________

| Can I ask that if your going to include pics in this item that you provide them as links, its screwing up the layout.
Thanks Last edited by L8-X on 20-Oct-2005 at 09:11 PM.

| I'll probably get flamed for this but I have to say I think that amigaworld.net is probably the best looking website in the amiga scene.
Meanwhile, amiga.com is the UGLIEST website design I've ever seen. Maybe amigaworld staff should be working on the amiga.com site. Heck, am I the only one who thinks this? _________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen!

| I'm personally against that competition, simply because I think that AW.net looks good and elegant already. Adding more eye-candy will just add clutter and there's no good reason to remove any of the already existing stuff, _________________

| I don`t see the point of redesigning already the BEST looking amiga site. It would be more smart to spend designing energy on creating normal designs for the WORST looking "site" E V E R - amiga.com... I trying to contact [several times] amiga.com "stuff" offering my redesign of amiga.com for FREE [!] - and nobody answered... Ehh.... :(
p.s. last night we installed on real ppc amiga MorphOS - well - that is what I call - design. Pity there is only OS on that CD without any other demo, program or game, but for what I saw - I was amazed that artist who did design for MOS - did it perfectly. Also - MorphOS main site was [is] the most professional looking around. Pity amiga.com "people" will never grow up... _________________ nykk | deetronic.rs | youtube.com/djnykk | gfx.river | mamavolibebu.com

| I am thinking why bother redesigning? cos well as the majority of people have said... AW.net already loos great... so why spend all this time? _________________ Dogs come when called, We cats take a messege and get back later - maybe!!!!
