Issue 22 of Total Amiga Magazine features an Exclusive Interview with Troika the people behind the Amy'05 Board.
Amongst the questions we asked were...

* Will it run OS4?
* How long has the project been in the works?

I am looking after the North American printing and distribution for Total Amiga.

Yes, I am a member of PaNorAmA. Just getting a shameless plug along the way... :)

Cheers!

Greg

Good luck guys

I hope one day I hope more people will reach into their Pockets and purchase Total Amiga Magazine.

We seem to have been stuck at about 600 copies for the last 2 years

Would be nice to get more people to purchase it. Not exactly expensive either, look..
UK a sub is £14.00 for the year (4 issues)
USA a sub is £15 or $26 USD approx
Canada a sub is £15 or 31 CAN approx

A Subscription to Europe is £17 ukp which equates to:
¤25 Euro (approx)
195 NOK (approx)
237 SEK (approx)

A subscription to the Rest of the world is £20 ukp which equates to..
47 AUD (approx)
50 NZD (approx)

Please help us move beyond 600 copies per issue, subscribe or purchase individual copies from your local Amiga dealer.

Well, issue 21 was my first number and I was very impressed with the quality.

So rest assured that I will purchase this issue. Probably even take out a subscription.

I used to write for Danish magazine Amiga Advis before it closed and I became an actual journalist... So I can completely appreciate your hard work.

Oh, and I thought that the quality of writing was extreme high, so here's to 700 copies sold!

Kind regards,
Morten

Alright I've been convinced... just made my first subscription to TA

At £14 for 4 issues here in the UK that's extremely reasonable...

I bought my subscription at the AmiGBG show this summer and I was very happy when the first magazine arrived! I really miss the old days when one could go to a local magazine-store and buy different amiga magazines.

I must say I'm quite surprised that the magazine doesn't shift more copies than 600, but I do hope it will increase as such an increase could mean the possibility for expanding the magazine in various ways! Keep up the good work to those involved! I will definiately renew my subscription when it expires later next year.

I subscribed at BB2 (or was it BB1 ?)... And I found it really great.

Unfortunatly, I didn't have much time to read it as I should have, so I didn't renew my subscription yet...

Great cant wait to get my hands on it!!

Just one more Q how is it looking for moving from quaterly to bi-monthly? Is it the lack of news or the small reader base holding it back? (I suspect its the news)

Thanks,

A very happy (happily engaged) Amiboy

What's holding us back from going bi-monthly?

Basically a bit of lack of news, but also a lack of regular contributors to be honest. We are very slowly building up the number of regular contributors but it needs to rise to be able to sustain a bi-monthly publication.

Ok, well I guess I just made about subscriber number 602. It's been a long time since I last subscribed to an Amiga magazine (for obvious reasons). Looking forward to my first issue.

Amiga magazines are not exactly thick on the ground are they? Welcome aboard, I hope you enjoy your magazine

Nearly as much as we look forward to getting it out of the door (always a large sigh of relief when we finally manage to finish an issue)
