Software News   Software News : Amiga Bourne Compatible Shell 0.0.34
   posted by hnl_dk on 21-Nov-2005 10:39:39 (3184 reads)
Have updated abc-shell (and did add SDK:Local/C to the default path).
Find it on OS4Depot, as soon as it gets accepted.

There will soon be another update, but please update to abc-shell-0.0.34 for now.

abc-shell is a Bourne/POSIX compatible shell, that can be very usefull when porting from POSIX systems.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@ hnl_dk

Thanks for this update.
I hope your patches go also back to the official sourceforge project? We can't afford
anymore to lose any IP

@cyborg

as a member og the team, that was the first I did... and it is a compile of the current cvs (I wanted to be sure that I had not missed something - as I did for the first time I tried to compile it ).

And even better, Steven has become a member, so all his future work will also become part of the cvs asap

@thread

Your welcome

@hnl_dk

Ah, didn't know that... then i'm happy
It was just because abc-shell was released on os4depot and not on sf.net, so i wondered if
you were on your own or not..

@Cyborg

abc-shell is still in it's alpha (could be beta) phase... I just wanted to release it as a fix for the version that had been released (did read that people had a problem with SDK:Local/C, so I wanted to give them a fix ).

I did release it on os4depot, as it was the place where the other version was placed (plus I have not tried to release a file on sf.net yet )

I have been member of the team from the beginning, so...
