Software News   Software News : WarpView 0.7 Released
posted by COBRA on 21-Dec-2005 8:02:12 (2838 reads)
A new version of WarpView is available on OS4Depot.Net

Changes in this version:

- Fixed a bug which caused crashes when trying to step between images at the
same time as when the info line or mouse was blanked
- Selecting only a directory in the file requester didn't work
- Fixed problem with buffered events, which made the image zoom/rotation
slower and less responsive.

Merry XMas to everyone, enjoy this new release!

Hi Cobra,

Thank you for continuing to develop WarpView!

Feel free to ignore the rest of this post if it goes completely against the way that you want to take WarpView in the future. But I was wondering...
How difficult would it be to add a slideshow feature to WarpView? I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to select a directory of pictures and then have WarpView cycle through them with some fancy zooming and 3D twisting effects. Then also screenblanker functionality could be added.

Btw when we are talking screen savers...

I would like to have native screen saver with an open plugin API.
COBRA's warpviewer would then be a prime example for a plugin
