Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : RC5/OGR stats
posted by reflect on 21-Dec-2005 19:31:43 (2114 reads)
For those of you who crunch RC5 or OGR on your spare time, I've now set up a statistics generator. It keeps track of who submits blocks, what OS they were using and much more. It makes nice graphs of the submitted blocks it has received so far and is meant mainly for people crunching with AmigaOS.

We also offer email mangling, and substituting your email with a nick, should you be better known by that nick. Go here to read more about it and check out the graphs, the "by email" and "by OS" links especially.

Have fun competing with your friends in the community!

The stats are nice, if you like to look at various Dnetc-stats, give this a go.
I've tried it for some time now, and me like

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

If it's not a team, may I suggest to call it "OS4 Dnetc Group" to avoid any confusion.

I thought that it was a new team myself. :-/

That's why I added the sentence

Before anyone asks, it's not a real team, by configuring your client you're NOT joining a team. You're just getting some nice stats from our server, that's all.
to the very top of the page this news item links to.

;)

Obviously we don't read text. Headlines good, text bad
