Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : Final week of the IntuitionBase.com article competition
   posted by Ryu on 23-Jan-2006 17:29:08 (1971 reads)
In just over a weeks time the competition will close and a week later the winner(s) will be announced.

Reminder:

The article competition is simple. Write an article (preferably in English) that has anything to do with either AOS4.x or the AmigaOne to go in our articles section.

Send your article into [mail=submit@intuitionbase.com] before the deadline written in plain ascii with attached images if your including images and be in with the chance to win:

First prize = AmiPhoto
Second and third prize = ANotice2

Contest in co-operation with Alinea-Computer

So far there have been no applicants, so you may well be in with a very good chance.

Wish I had a talent for writing. I always have to purchase my own prizes.

Good luck to those who entered.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@All

This is a great oppourtunity to write about something you feel passionate about, and get reqarded for it! Come on, write an article - I have in the past and I'm not exactly an author!

A lot of work went into securing the prizes for this so please show your commitment to Ryu and IntuitionBase. Ryu has put a lot of hard work into the site and to this competition and its really depressing that we don't have anything to judge at present.

Some articles that I'd like to see on IntuitionBase (and I'm sure others might too):

  • Exchanging files between Linux and OS4 (tutorial style?)
  • Optimising OS4
  • A custom built case? Maybe somebody else is stuck for ideas?
  • Answering some of the questions that perhaps only you have the answer to!

Seriously guys, it would be a real shame if there's no winner for this competition. The rules are simple - Quote:
The only ground rules are that the article is relevant to the AmigaOne or OS4.x.

Articles about how you run linux on your AmigaOne will also be accepted, just please provide something!

@Ryu

I know that the community finds IntuitionBase useful, keep up the good work! Good job on the prize acquisitions.

GiGa

@GiGA

There are over 750 posts in the "Dave Haynie" thread, which proves we have writers.
The problem is...some of them are giving me the clear impression that they would
rather spend their valuable time arguing over pointless irrelevant speculation than
contributing to furthering the cause of OS4.
Maybe you could post off-topic in that thread and beg them to contribute.

@number6

Fully agree with you.
If you have an interest in Amiga, write about it.
