You know, if there was an OS4 version Amigans might be tempted to start developing for AA.
Then AmigaInc would have one of these announcements every month or so at the very least.
Psshhh. "strengthens Amiga’s position in lucrative puzzle game market".
Oh well. Good luck anyway.

Ok. Going back to my happy place now.
I might want to buy your ketchup if I could use it on my hotdogs as well as my burgers!!!

It is actually true though. Even if they release only 1 puzzle game it is 'strengthening their position'.

It's quite sad to see their lack of interest in OS4.

No one cares about AmigaAnyware. At least not me.

OS4 has a far more interesting and complete API that AmigaAnyware

Even if that AA thingy was released for OS4 I doubt anyone would code/use AA apps.

@MichaelMerkel

What a bizarre response. Almost as if Hyperion and AInc. are not even in communication anymore.

They are clearly very separate companies now.

Nothing surprises me anymore with Amiga though.

Any progress on Java for AmigaOS? Remember downloading some thing and running some test on my AmigaOS4, I don’t mind Amiga Anywhere content, butt I don’t think the impact is that big most stuff is Java or Java script based anyway. Amiga Anywhere is small player in big market, I se no induction of Amiga Anywhere taking over for Java, Amiga Anywhere is not bundled on my Nokia Phone.

I hope these common standards are soon supported on OS4 (Amiga Anywhere is not even on the list)

* Realplayer content
* Java content
* Macro media content

That one is a bit hard to find for people that are new to Amiga.

Yep, but the impression given is somehow 'that would be bad.' Maybe they'd have to pay taxes on income then or something?

Seriously, there are likely license fees and more in getting Intent running elsewhere, and I doubt AInc is exactly full of employees, let alone developers. I do think they're missing an opportunity for 'free publicity' and development on AA by not making it available on OS4, as well as some small bit of goodwill, but I'm also not the CEO of AI (although I _could_ make a business card? ), so who knows..?

AmigaAnywhere = Amiga anywhere apart from AmigaOS4.

I think Amiga Inc is just an urban legend. They don't really exist.

@Tomas

Well, that's the partners that Amiga actually refer to on the site. In other words.. if you read that Hyperion are in charge of porting OS4 and click on the Hyperion link - you get the OS4 page.
