According to ELSPA, the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association the Video Games market is growing faster than ever before. The popular games console systems have sold 30 per cent more than the previous generation of gaming technology at the equivalent point in time.

I think the cost of games needs to come down.
I dont know how many Millions some of them cost to make, but look at avg cost of games

£30-£45

A good game could shift 3-4million copies.

now do the maths.

I saw an old mag with sega megadrive games being advertised for over 45-50 pounds a time!

The growth could easily be releated to the fact that a Console is not only a childs toy anymore.

it's an ever expanding marked.

Hi!

I agree that Console games are overpriced. But if they sell 3-4 Million copies per title, why should they cut down the price ? Appearently people will still buy the games... (BTW: Where did you get that 3-4 Million number from... I think it is ways too high !!! Console games sell good, but I would be surprised to hear they'd sell THAT good)
