Announcement   Announcement : Intuitionbase.com Article Competition Results
posted by Ryu on 6-Feb-2006 21:02:53 (2349 reads)
After a rather dismal response the results of the IntuitionBase.com article competition are as follows:

First prize goes to Paul E. Bloedel for his sterling work on: How to Make Custom Workbench GUI Themes in Amiga OS4

Paul wins AmiPhoto, which will be sent out to him asap via post and ANotice 2 which will arrive in his email inbox soon

Second prize goes to Tom "DoodooHead" Gastineau for his interesting article: My Home Studio

Tom wins a copy of ANotice 2 which will arrive in his email inbox soon too

Unfortunatly those were the only 2 entries we received, but I felt the quality was good enough in both articles to award them both prizes, so well done lads.

We would also like to take a moment to thank Alinea-Computer for donating the prizes, and for being such good sports.

From all of the IntuitionBase.com team.

@ Fuzion

I have ordered 5 more pieces for it, they should be here by the end of the month! Now is the time for buying and installing the equipment and software, then will come the using of the studio.

The rack is the only way to go. I could not have full sized 88 key versions of those 3 systhesizers in my room. I just got a new 16 channel line mixer for the rack. I would have no room for a 16 channel mixer any other way. It seems to be a nearly dead form factor though. The desktop sound modules and mixers are much more prevalent.

Hi PEB,

Congrats! I mostly interested in the paint program you used. Which?
I completed a translation of Ambient and a hell of time getting
PaintFx2 68K to co-operate with the functions.. Every Update kills
the 68k programs a little.

Contrats to the winners.

Wish I was good enough to have had something to offer.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@PEB

Good article! I'm sure many will read it to make their own umm, err...'special' themes, and maybe a few good ones too!
