Events   Events : 3-Cag Meeting this coming Sunday !
   posted by AmiGame on 22-Mar-2006 13:59:14 (2193 reads)
It's this time again...

This Sunday (26/03/2006) at 11:30 in Peteborough, you will have the opportunity to kick my back side with all you've got!

Come to the 3-Counties-Amiga-Group (3-Cag) meeting to play FreeSpace on LAN !
You will also see various AmigaOne XE setups as well as MicroA1 (Mickey_C are you coming with your baby ?)... But most of all, You will have a great time along with fellow amigans!
Last time the temperature was so much higher than at the previous meeting, and I'm sure it will be the same at this one (Paul, don't forget the Gaz Can...).

Jerry

It was a great success.
All Amigans in the area should pop down next month, you won't be sorry!

And I inded got my back side kicked... Getting a max of 4 Kills while Rudei was getting over 40 !!!!
Conclusion ? I need more practice... Started yesterday with a 3 hours flight !

Rudei, you have been officially banned from playing Freespace until the next 3-Cag meeting to at least give me a chance !

Jerry

@Jerry

But I was your biggest ally?

No problem, I don't actually play it much (although its a great game)
My "practice" comes from when I used to play Wing Commander on my A1200/030/50. I use simialr tactics to destroy the enemy!

That's right... But next time we could maybe give a go at other Campaigns (I downloaded a few so I'm not sure which ones are the originals)... Like the "Football Campaign"... Is it an original ?

Also can FreeSpace be played over the Internet ?

Jerry

Don't recall the footie one so don't think its an original.
And yes, Freespace can be played over the internet.

@Rudei,

Maybe we could give it a try this weekend (Saturday afternoon for example) ?
