Unfortunately installing AmiDevCpp broke my existing - and business critical - installation of Cygwin. A warning that this happens would be nice.

To fix it, I had to uninstall AmiDevCpp, and reinstall Cygwin.

@Mobileconnect

I am sorry to hear that.
AmiDevCpp installs its own cygwin and unfortunately overwrite the path settings in the registry.
You can repair them by running the setup program in your cygwin Installation, or by using Regedit.exe and change them manually.

In the new installer, there is a warning.
