Internet News   Internet News : Amiga Games That Weren't
   posted by spotUP on 1-May-2006 18:18:17 (2787 reads)
A great site called Amiga Games That Weren't (AGTW) was launched a while ago.
The aim is to locate finished Amiga games that wasn't released for some reason.
So far they have had great success. Games that are found and in some cases fixed and released are;

CrimeTown Depths, Dragon's Kingdom, Indigo, Putty Squad (Demo only, still being researched, progress has been made though) and Son Shu Shi.

Recently two lost majors was WHDLoad fixed and the image files are available
namely;

Snow Bros and Liquid Kids.

Two TOP titles. Go to Amiga Games That Weren't and leech away!

http://agtw.abime.net/

For the HD/Fix patches go to http://www.whdload.de and download them.

Enjoy!

Cheers SpotUP for the heads UP

Would be interested in Putty Squad; there was a bit of noise going on here on AW a couple years back about this game,

Rude!

snow bros and liquid kids are 2 great games , shame they never got released as they would surely have sold bucket loads, thanks to AGTW we can now play what we where supposed to 13 years ago.

I would LOVE for the WormsDC upgrade to be released.
More features and online play. It was done but they didn't like the sales for the game so they canceled the release

Good to hear!
There are a lot of unreleased Amiga games and the opportunity to have even just a playable demo is nice.

May be one day we will be able to see some of these:
Albion
Duncan
Evil's Doom
The Game Machine
In Shadow of Time
InfernoPhoenix - The Crusade
Pulsator
Rage
Rage 2.0
Raiden
Son of Zeus
Thalimar

Or even Dragon Slayer (I've red a preview on '87, but never seen the game
The shots were wonderful for the time (If I ever find them over the net, I'll post a link)

EDIT: One link found for Dragon Slayer
The last post in the page has an image. Just Click to enlarge...
