I noticed today that your proggie TheMPegEncGui doesn't convert Aiffs into Mp3's 
Had to get Alkemyst to do it for me, which he did successfully in Lame.

Yea, I noticed... some debug got left in there after fixing the crash-on-exit-bug. Just ignore it or download again from www.onyxsoft.se.

Ehh?! That's wierd, because that's the only fileformat I have ever converted to mp3 using TheMPegEncGUI except when testing... 
In what way do you find it unable to convert AIFF to MP3?

I wanted to rip the Audio Track01 from the Genetic Species CD to Mp3
It just kept reporting error messages.
If its any consolation, so did DBpowerAmp on my PC !!
As I mentioned, Alkemyst ripped it for my using cli Lame
