Previous versions were slow, too much frameskip!

I will try it when I have spare time...

More interesting is the Devhook latest version!

Too bad you have the choice between having a lot of hassle for running a couple of emulators or having a machine with relatively interesting features.

In my case the LocoRoco demo was more interesting than a choppy classic emulator.

LOCO ROCO Roxxs , i would never switch back to some crappy feature less solution just to play with a dodgy emulator like pspuae but yes eventually i hope sony will allow homebrew on its console.

This is the ####. Works really really well too.
Me playing SuperFrog. But what is this nonsense about features v.s. emulators? I'm running FW 1.50 and jumps into 2.60 in 5 sec if I need to. DevHook rulez.

@shoe

I wouldn't have tried it if it were not for the downloadable demo - which requires the latest firmware.

Shoe: Loco Roco is one of the games which require 2.71 and homebrew was stopped at 2.61.

Yeah, it's kinda sad that for once Microsoft seems to be more open towards developers. In an interview I read recently, it was claimed that when Bill Gates saw an Xbox equipped with Xbox Media Center and various homebrew/backups on it he said something like "how can we accomodate these people?" instead of "let's stop this."

Of course so far the 360 isn't very open and they don't have a handheld, but it's good that homebrew software as good as XBMC can open the eyes of the higher-ups in large corporations. Maybe in time we'll see more open platforms.

Sony have been trying to stop homebrew at every release of the firmware. Hopefully someone will get around 2.71. I am surprised at home difficult it appears to have been for coders to get things working up to 2.6.

It would be nice to see and AmigaOS implementation for the PSP. The Homebrew community is growing quite fast. There are already Windows and MacOSX likes running in this little hardware.

where is that famous Amiga everywhere??

Cheers
