| Good work, Jürgen. Hope to see soon a complete open GL implementation ( Hardware accelerated). Any possibility to get Open GL shaders? Last edited by AmigaBlitter on 14-Nov-2006 at 02:33 PM.

| Thx,

Most likely not. I agree with the Friedens, that we have to re-write the whole graphics sub system to achieve that goal (I might look into MESA5 or at least the API, which implements a full OpenGL1.4 API - which is implemented in MESA4 already thru ARB extension).
However, I hope we will see a new backend system (new graphics.library etc.) at a later stage. I hope I can upgrade the interface to support this new API then (so, in that way, shaders might also be available thru ablit - but this will only be a compatibiliy wrapper, in case you still want to use the ablit lib). _________________ AmigaOne XE G3/933/VIA/FM801/R200 (fixed), G3SE/600/Voodoo3/Sil680/RTL8139/SBLive! | Whooa really fast, I thought you told me on utilitybase you had for about 4 weeks before going for a release... Well done : a projet that is in advance compared to his deadline
However too bad for my own project because I needed glut and you did not included it in your port So I'll have to wait a bit more I guess... _________________ AOS 4.1 : I dream it, Hyperion did it ! Now dreaming AOS 4.2... Thank you to all devs involved for this great job !

Actually, I was refering to GLUT. I decided to release without GLUT, because somebody else can do that now (?), or I can release that later. It will be kind of separate any way (ablitglut.library). _________________ AmigaOne XE G3/933/VIA/FM801/R200 (fixed), G3SE/600/Voodoo3/Sil680/RTL8139/SBLive!
