Hi,

I like ImageFX very much. I have the 2.1 version working on OS4. I had thought of getting the latest version before. Last time I checked it costed something around $89.95. Now, with this 50% deal I thought it would be around $45.00. This would have really made sense mathematically. Unless of course I am mistaken, which is probable.

Thanks,
Firbodi

PS.1: Also, after the sale, the price is $69.95, which is still not 50% of the original (old) price of $129.95
PS.2: I am not saying that it's too expensive for what it really does. Just the numbers don't match.

What is the latest version of ImageFX and when was it last updated? Any links to any reviews?

@-Sam-

NovaDesign's website says the latest version is ImageFX 4.5 Studio. It was announced here on 29.02.2004.

You're not really comparing it to the old _retail_ price you're comparing it to the last price offered which was a sale. Actually at $69.95 it's pretty much far less than it's retail price, but we've bopped the price around the $150 mark off and on for some time now. But that wasn't retail.

Basically I took the last price, non-sale, and halved it. That's where the current price comes from.

Now...get everyone ordering. NOW!

I know you will not answer to questions like "Are we getting newer versions soon?".
But this message is to let you know that I am still willing to upgrade and use the
ImageFX, as I have done since the version 2.1. And I already have the latest 4.5
version with PPC support!

Are you sure that IFX 4.5 has PPC support as in native PPC? Which modules? AFAIK, IFX is only 68k, but runs without problems on AOS4. As I said, I am using v2.1 on OS4. It works with minimal problems if I use the CyberGraphics settings.

If IFX 4.5 has a native PPC version for OS4, I will not hesitate to buy it at this price.

Thanks,
Firbodi
