But the prices are rather high!

AmigaOS 3.9 -> $99 (I get it from my national dealer for converted $52)
Kickstart 3.1 -> $99 (from my national dealer for A500/600/2000/1200/.. $23)
...
Infocus X3 DLP (projector) -> $1999 (for < $1200 in many other onlineshops)

So the free hand scanner won't pull out the abuse.
Sorry dude.

I think the prices are in Australian dollars, aren't they?

Oh well, I missed that!

Sorry.
Nevertheless it's expensive compared to other stores. Even to australian dealers like Anything Amiga and Amiga Innovations but not so much.

What you can do is concentrate on the cheaper stuff and get a bargain. Both mice and joysticks are cheap and high quality. Disks and software are likewise not expensive (we are working on a fuller list of software).

The X2 has been superceded twice by newer and cheaper models. As it's an Amiga shop the projector is mainly there to illustrate which technologies the Amiga is compatible with.

Could you please indicate which dealer has $23 OS3.1's?

Sometimes a user likes to get a bit of extra help with his installation... which we're happy to provide for free. It often ends up cheaper and less frustrating to buy locally for this reason.

The hand scanner is an extra perk... if you'd like to do some graphics editing or scanning on your Amiga.

We also offer user group discounts on many items... and reply to our e-mail.

No prob! It's my local dealer www.vesalia.de
Who's also friendly by helping if problems are happening.
By the way you can get there Kickstart 3.1-CD32 version for ~13$.

Just compare your software... You'll be unfortunately surprise.

Well, okay that`s an advantage. Nothing is better to discover & discuss as an user group. =)

...But sometimes it could be better to import cheaper stuff for your shop. ;)

greetz,
DaFreak

@DaFreak
I dont think $10 for a original game is that unreasonable.

Actually it's meant to say ANY 10 items of Amiga software for $100... which means you can cherry pick some nice items

The Vesalia prices are in Euro... and you need to convert from Euro to Australian dollars (the euro is quite strong). Add postage and GST (our equivalent of VAT)... and the price suffers badly.

Factor in a 10% discount to user group members... and that we didn't purchase our stock at this reduced rate.

Plus... only some of the ROM's at Vesalia are cheap. It's the more expensive ROM's that we get asked for most. We also often direct users overseas if the price difference is large.

...but thanks for bringing it to our attention.

The users who buy ROM's from MC1 usually want some help fitting them (local support) which we are happy to provide.

Hi Slick,
after some beers I must say that I don't meant it as negative as I seems at first. ;)

By the way the $100-for-10 software offer is a good idea.

cheerz and good morning Australia!
