Why can't people who deveolped for the amiga years ago be consistant. Geoff crammond should have kept with that amiga, Stunt car racer two will be awsome, shame it is PC only at this time.

Geoff Crammond wants sell bucketloads of games and make a profit. He wont do that on the Amiga at the moment. Simple as that.
Its not a good time for Amiga software development at the moment anyway - theres no point developing for OS3.x at the moment because it'll need tweaking & recompiling for PowerPC when OS4 comes out anyway (assuming that you dont want it to run on an emulated 680x0).
Not only that, but development on the Windows PC is so much easier. Say what you like about Microsoft, they have created a nice development environment in VC++ and DirectX (inc Direct Draw / 3d / Sound / Input / etc). On top of that there is DarkBasic, and the Blitz and Amos follow-ups on that platform.
We have a complex GeekGadgets setup (that many developers find incredibly hard to set up!) and the only decent IDE (StormC) isnt likely to be developed any further.
end of rant...
