I'd be interested to know is this new patch address some of the major issues that Total Amiga had with Desert Racing, and so might it is no-longer an awful racing game but a half-decent one? (Too much to hope? And can I be bothered to re-download & install a 200+Mb demo to find out?)

I have been meaning to give the demo a try again since spotting the patch as if the control issues have been fixed it looked quite promising.

If I remember at the weekend I will give it another try as I really wanted to like Desert Racing as we don't see very many new original tittles on the Amiga of late but, the game just wasn't any fun.
