Hello!

We are very happy to announce the release of a new (and hopefully last ) update for Amijeweled!

It is V1.2 and it will cure the MorphOS freeze problem finally.
Many, many thanks go to Harry "piru" Sintonen for his help with this issue!

As usual, our customers received the update already per mail and the updated demo version is available on our server now.

We wish you much fun with Amijeweled V1.2!

hello,

I'm verry verry sorry but the hit I have with pervious version is allways here with this last version.

decrunch the archive, game work, click on new game give score and level blue caracters appeared on the screen but freeze.


amiga 1200+1260/50 48mo fast+p96 with mediator last version driver+AOS3.9BB2 heavily patched (blizzkick, birdie2000,MCP mainly).

NOTE: cacheit0.2 on aminet work fine here.

Well, this is not so good... the problem is, we have several customers with machines very similar to yours (Mediator + Voodoo) and there Amijeweled works quite fine.

You said that your system is heavily patched, maybe you can try to disable all patches one after another, just to be sure that this hit is not caused by one of the patches?

hello,

I have made a test by disabling mcp, birdie, rawbinfo, tooldeamon and exchange
and I have the hits attached (look like previous one).

I have made a test with my zip SCSI autoboot cartridge with a clean aos3.9 without patch and just the mediator stuff on the cartridge (for the P96 screenmode) and have also a crash at the same place (click on new game).

voodoo card is 4.26 from elbox.
rtg.libary is 40.3992 from P96.
aos 3.9 bb2.

Well, we have analyzed the Enforcer output a little bit... it crashes, when the playfield is cleared, which is in fact one big blit (256 * 256 pixel). We really don't know what is going wrong here :(

Please send us a mail, so we can discuss this further and maybe we will find a way to solve it.

I've updated my OS4/Euae system to Amikit 1.3.3 and had to adjust the filetype
to run. Nice program!! I'll buy a version to dowload, but no snail mail transactions
please. I lost too much software with snailmail. I enjoyed 'IOSpirit' like arrangements.

Hello!

If you´re talking about Amijeweled: Indeed there is a download version available for purchase, and it´s even a little bit more comfortable than the IOSpirit arrangement: You will get it by mail and additionally you will get all possibly following updates by mail, too (in fact, as a customer you will get it first).

The only "drawback" (we don´t think it really is) could be, that payment for the online version is possible by PayPal or bank transfer only.

You see, no snailmail involved here.
