I dont have UAE so i dont know your problem. Please read changelog and test. Testing is only way to know if your problem is fixed. If not probably it will be fixed in some future version. You can always join the emaillist or write to the author and send him some debug data if you know howto.

Amigift 2.0 on Amikit 1

Amigift 2.0 on Amikit 2

install the plain 020 version.

If you are using any version of Amikit, DELETE the old Amigift assigns.

I believe Diego fixed amigift to load libs even in progdir:
I installed OS4 update July 2007 version that come today and what do i see ?
Some yellow lights and some green lamps. I enabled all protocolls and i will be back home after some hours too see what happend :)

And ofcourse Diego for Amigift. Whaaaat now i see even alot of users in amigift. Ill go visit my friend to watch movie before i go mad :)

Whos the luckiest man in the world. Probably this is the first time i can run amigift normally and use it since i got my AmigaOne :)

EDIT: Here is evidence. I got home and saw i had 4 lamps. And now i have to go to sleep ;( Tomorrow ill test to search and download.

I dunno why you complain about this, there is no mention to UAE on the whole ChangeLog.

all I know about the matter is some ppl tryed it under AmiKit and it worked...

amigift.library IS included into the update (2.131 08.07.2007), download it again as may the archive downloaded corrupted (update archive is 466776 bytes) you can also use the online updater.

double click on icon == i had msg saying about amigift.library not there than after restart
double click on icon of amigift MAGIC no more amigift.library msg & it does run a bit

do you mean even the SplashWindow isn't opened?

well... do a thing (obvious and lame thing, but well), remove any reference to amigift from your system (that includes the files into envarc:MUI/giftmui#?, and any associated assign), extract the archive somewhere and then "apply" the update, check amigift.readme file for the list of requirements (mui classes, etc) and verify you has a proper "installation", now check there aren't "strange" patches on your system.

now (after a freesh boot.. may help..) run giftmui, ...if something goes wrong do a next try moving amigift:libs contents to libs: (even if such issue should have been fixed on #150, but who know..), also if there is missing some 3rd part resource giftmui should complain about it, on previous builds there was some issue opening our own made requester at the very beginning (like for checking for his existence at startup), I dont think such requesters could be causing any issue todays (but who know.. again, thats UAE), if it's at the very beginning we'll no longer try to use mui for them, instead ReAction requesters are used instead, i dont think either it could be causing anything, but.....

hope that helps.. i have no more ideas right now as I'm only thinking on going to the bed ;)

My email isnt working, problem with provider. So i ask here.

Do you people get context menu on the main window ? I dont. On transfer window it appears over files. I remember when on classic i could use it in the main at least for changing which column i want to see/hide. Either its removed or not working on my os4 ?

it requires Popmenu.mui class

edit- it should be already present onto your OS4 default MUI3.9 installation.

Sorry. It does work. At least in transfer window i got contextmenus so i can choose sharemonkey/cancel/pause etc.

The thing i wonder is the main window. For years ago i could bring up context menu to hide/show which columns i want. Now i cant so either amigift doesnt have it anymore or i do not know how to bring up the context for columns. For example file/size/mime/user etc. I would like to hide some of them as there is info i dont need ;)
