Does time really stand this still in the land of Amiga.

It seems that Elbox have been turned to stone like a character from those weird Brothers Grimm tales.

Cue a sack load of comments bemoaning the non-appearance of Shark and Dragon etc.

Well at least they actually ship REAL products.

We will probably never see the Shark or Dragon products and thats a shame but at least they have other products available for Classic Amiga's. And free shipping can only be a nice addition?

The Dragon is a really interesting board because the CPU is on a separate card with the Ram sockets and it can run as a stand alone system, Elbox plan to sell it as development platform for Coldfire.

It would be nice if there was a CPU card for it with an empty socket for an 040 or 060 and a bank of 72 pin simm sockets. It would be just like a Mediator but without the need for special DMA workarounds.

If/when the OS4 situation gets sorted out it is would be nice to see a standalone version with G4 or better CPU card.

And for Colin Camper, how about a standalone Dragon with Minimig on a PCI card, not sure what their attitude towards AROS would be though.

I wonder if they'll manage to get it running past low end 040 speeds with a Coldfire, I guess this is why we haven't heard much about it since it was shown.

I guess EFIKA/EFIKA2 and SAM440 are enough for AROSPPC - I think AROS on Minimig with open source kickstart would also be great!

Does any of the Elbox folks hangout on this site? I'm curious of their thoughts on Minimig and can they get any value out of it like recreating A1200 style main boards with ColdFire and this FPGA thingy?? Hmmm... what about Clone-A and AGA implementation???

IIRC in the early days of the Mediator some users wanted Linux support but Elbox said they were only interested in Amiga OS running on their products.
