Thought I'd never see the day when the Amiga brand name was back in a major retailer. Well done !

Maybe after they sell a couple thousand of these, Amiga Inc will be able to come out of hiding and send the T-Shirts that so many people are griping about.

The only sad part is the fact that it says:
Quote:
Manufacturer: Microsoft

Surely that isn't correct? Microsoft are the distributer, Amiga are the manufacturer?

Still it sure is nice to see that these are being sold outside of Amiga's "Anywhere" website!! Now all I would like to see is them in the Dixon's group stores in the UK. That would give them massive coverage in this neck of the woods!

"You can also find it at: http://microsoft.handango.com/"

Handago AA (look at the lost of compatible devices, WOW. very small amount has been sold though..)

Which is neither of these:
M$pack1
M$pack2

There was also some other M$ pack with Amiga game around december. I can not find it anymore...

@Messiah

Well maybe if you updated your website with, what is rather important, information then we wouldn't be so slow

@Messiah

>Darn your slow :)

Hey, not my fault, I changed email address and wasn't receiving any posts from the DE lists :-p

I just noticed that by chance, for the past few months I've been logging on to CompUSA every week waiting to see this

@Dirk-B

Actually they've been available at Handango for quite a while, that was the first selling place, then selected CompUSA stores and now the online CompUSA store. It doesn't end here either

It took exactly five months to get here, and this time it was not Amiga's fault, just the slow decision making policy of Microsoft.

Actually neither one, the manufacturer of the cards is an asian company that does the job on demand for MS, but I guess since MS is the distributor (i.e. the one who pays for the shelf space on the stores) they put down MS as the manufacturer. Not a biggie really.

@amigammc

Ok cool

I wasn't trying to make it more then it was, just it would be nice if it said Amiga rather then Microsoft

It was meant as a joke as it apeared before it was on the SDA list(hence the smiley).

Sells will be devastating I think. A name on a website doesn't mean they will sell.
My speculation, but sells won't ever recover development costs and manhours.

Still its a source of money, so it's a good thing.
