Software News   Software News : TuneNet get WMA and TTA!!
posted by Curty on 11-Sep-2007 19:31:14 (3502 reads)
Ive recently uploaded to os4depot.net two new plugins for TuneNet.
A WMA plugin uses a stripped down ffmpeg decoder to adds support for Windows Media Audio, and a TTA plugin that adds support for True Audio files.
TTA is a lossless compression like the FLAC format and can be encoded on OS4 using TTA encoder ported by SpotUP.

Get WMA Plugin here and
TTA Plugin here.

Ive also uploaded an updated HVL Plugin.

Have fun!!!

Great news. Never heard of the TTA before. DL the encoder and the plugins. Nice too see WMA on amiga. So whats the difference TTA to FLAC ? If its good would be nice to have it in TMPEGUI ;) Me like lossless compression. Good for taking less space on backup and sending to folks in real quality.

Tunenet :D

luckily there are people that actually are doing things for Amiga instead of complaining and criticize the AmigaOS
