"Slackintosh was a little-known PPC port of Slackware Linux which after some years of development was put on indefinite hiatus. Adrian Ulrich has recently restarted the project and is again providing (together with Marco Bonetti) a Slackware distribution for Apple (and non-Apple) RISC-powered hardware."
Does "non-Apple RSC powered hardware" mean also Amiga?
The last time I tried to upgrade the ancient LinuxPPC install to Debian on my classic I ran into the problem where I had a kernel panic when it detected the PCMCIA network card. This meant that I'd have to mess about unplugging the card and recompile the kernel without support for the PCMCIA networking
But if this slack distribution will work I might give it another go...

I already asked the developers and there are installation instruction for Efika 1. Unfortunately Efika 1 is already discontinued. The developers plan to attend Sam 440EP launch in Italy.

The Efika 1 is discontinued but is still quite available - and if you get in touch with me soon enough you'll find it's still quite affordable. My email is ausPPC@gmail.com
btw I know it's not Slackware but I've been playing with a Gentoo 'LiveCD' ditribution and rather liking the Enlightenment interface that it boots into.
