Microsoft has confirmed reports received by The Register that Windows 2000 PCs running a specific version of Office 2000 have been hit by sudden, unexpected requests to continually register the software with Microsoft.

The glitch could leave thousands of Office users unable to continue using their software.

yes. just installed 1.0.3 on a Windows system at work. pity..as i was the only one able to write
documents that day

OpenOffice is a *MUST* for AmigaOS 4.x on PPC

Any news on the AmigaPPC port of this? Last I heard, there was a team working on it (don't know how many people), but has there been any progress?
My Amiga is my main and only computer, so some new software under OS4 would be sweet.
