Thanks mason, but:
- could you make the same but with less colors and/or other gfx format because all png small images loading with warppng give a +++50 seconds boot for YAM here with 1260/voodoo/P96 on classics amiga.
maybe just change the format of all the small images or make small png level.
Im considering switch back to the old YAM (too bad I know) but my own public yam make make 5 seconds to be constructed here).
this great program is less good just with the format of the pictures on small amigas. sorry to have classics amiga but all know why

| Ehm, tried this theme on OS3.9 (CGX4 16bit screen, latest WarpPNG datatype unregistered (WarpOS)) and it looks like this: 
I guess alpha channel is completly ignored or something. The same look i get when using YAM theme from AISS.
Any ideas welcomed.
(BTW yam 2.5 loading is really slow compared to v2.4, even on the fastest 68k systems) |

I have more or less the same problem like you.
loading with default themes:
with png pictures, load around 55 seconds here with 1260-voodoo3+P96.
with iff pictures, load 1 min 05 secs with same amiga.
I have spent one hour for converting by hand default themes for testing.
The problem is the load of all the little picture during start that take time also even with a scsi HD here.
BTW, I have some problems.
here I have black NLIST background window (and white caracters).
- if a drawer have unread mails = name is black also mean see nothing.
- if a drawer have zero unread mails = see nothing (no number) on the column not read.
- I must wait 3 seconds to see the start of the construction of the main YAM screen after the load of YAM.

Thats incredible !!!!!!! YAM 2.5 take 15-20 secs to load with AFA-OS (with default theme in png format) !!!!!!!! Last edited by Mrodfr on 25-Dec-2007 at 09:33 AM.
