SimpleMail 0.32 was released for AmigaOS 3.x and 4.0. MorphOS version (0.30) is not yet updated.
SimpleMail is a new mailer for the Amiga platform (both classic and OS4) and compatible systems (MorphOS). It is intended to be as portable as possible.

In the current state, SimpleMail is an beta version but it is very stable however as we try to implement every feature so that it works and go then on to the next one. However, SimpleMail grows very fast and with your help it can overgrow YAM soon.
And here is the christmas and birthday release of SimpleMail. In brief, the release 0.32 of SimpleMail is characterized by the following changes:
* Partly supports AISS. Can be disabled by using the Hidden.DontUseAISS hidden configuration option. * Completed functionality of custom mail list, e.g., columns can be reordered, their state saved, and so on. * Added quick filter. * Bug fixes.

Oh. I was just there on a whim and downloaded the latest version (0.32 - I was running 0.29). I guess this news means that what I got was the latest greatest and most freshest version.
Well, I was using it earlier today and it does seem very snappy. I love SimpleMail.

There could be a bug if you're using the v0.32 OS3 compile on MorphOS with TheBar and the new mailtreelist class. You have to switch of the new mailtreelist:
setenv save SIMPLEMAIL_OLDMAILLIST 1
or don't use TheBar:
add "Hidden.DontUseTheBarMCC=Y" to the ".config" file of Simplemail.

Nice to see these two apps being regularly updated. I'm a YAM guy myself, but SimpleMail is just about equal in terms of features and usability. Keep up the good work.
