Events   Events : Commodore/Amiga Network meeting - Jan. 19
posted by RobertB on 9-Jan-2008 4:16:27 (2256 reads)
Greetings, C= and Ami aficionados,

Especially those in the Los Angeles area or those who plan to visit the Los Angeles area. The second meeting of the Commodore/Amiga Network (CAN) will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 4 p.m. in Castaic (northern Los Angeles area), California. For the exact address, send an e-mail to me at rbernardo(at)iglou.com

Because CAN is starting off as a new C= group, the style of the meeting is still freeform. Talk and
demonstrations will center around Commodore and Amiga games and other applications. Other talk will be concerned about the schedule of meetings, officers (if any), a CAN webpage, etc.. Anybody with an interest in Commodore and Amiga is invited to join us at the meeting.

Truly,
Robert Bernardo
speaking for CAN

Of course you had to pick the weekend I will be in Austin, Texas!

I'm in Los Angeles and was going to start a User Group for nextgen Amiga users. But the A1's dried up and OS4 seemed never to come out commercially. Plus AInc was MIA.

However, I'm glad someone is doing something. I'd love to attend but like I said, I'll be out-of-state that weekend. If things change, please let me know. And also for the next meeting.

Just a little nitpick: The subject line says Jan. 9, not Jan. 19. You might want to have somebody fix that. (I wish it would make a difference for my attendance, or rather, lack of it, but LA is just too far away from Copenhagen to consider ATM. Some day ...)

Good luck with the Network!

Best regards,

Niels

Wed Jan 9th (today) or Sat Jan 19th? Hmmmm. I'm guessing Sat Jan 19th. :)

You are right. The subject line should say Jan. 19; however, the body of the message is still correct for Saturday, Jan. 19.

Heh... but I will be at the Netherlands Commodore Show in Maarssen on June 21.

And also for the next meeting.

I'm already thinking of a February meeting.
