Now what am I going to read on Sunday?

Good read. Is it just me or are the Q&A's getting a little better? Maybe it's just me...

We all (AW staff) try to pick an all rounded selection of questions from all those that have been posted since the Q&A sessions began. Some questions asked in successive weeks may have been asked in a different fashion from a previous week, but we aim to get as many of your submissions put through.

Naturally, the type of question and "difficulty" of it is all up to you - the members that asked them in the first place.

Thank you to the Amigaworld staff for selecting my question, and for Fleecy's fairly interesting answer about this calculator, it does indeed sound impressive with its modular framework. Almost reminiscent of a Matlab type program . Very cool .

Here's to AmigaDE in future AOS versions.

-edit-
Hmm, I wonder if it will also have the capability of importing from a variety of data formats.

These questions and thier replies looked pretty good. Some of it I could not make heads or tails of, especially Q10.Anyone wanna break that down into base laymans terms?
Also what exactly is AG1 and AG2?
I suspect it refers to AmigaOne generation (AG1) and the gerneration to follow(AG2) but I am probably way off here.

you are correct the ag1/ag2 referes to different generations of various api´s and so on.

In terms of what they are I better leave that for Fleecy as I dont want to say something Im not alowed to :)

AG1 refers to the "Classic Amiga's"

AG2 refers to the new AmigaONE (and later) lines

I'm really pleased with the Q&A sessons in general. This one was especially good.

The excitment continues to build.

Yes, these regular Q&A sessions are a huge improvement compared to the massive silence we had before.

I'm still missing a straight answer from the horse's mouth on my "DE on Palm" question, though.

@IonMane

"Also what exactly is AG1 and AG2"

If you read some of the older Q&A from Fleecy you'll see that he has explained that before.

As to the rest that sometimes wonder if he isn't answering as fully as some people like I would suggest that it's the forum that is at fault here.

Returning one answer for each question doesn't leave much room for long drawn out answers.

A live debate with one question on the table would probably give better more clearly defined answers, provided they are of the type that he can answer at all to.

Apart from that I think they were very good questions this time but like some said here a few of them went a bit over my head.

Any chance of Fleecy agreeing to a Live Q&A some time, if we stuck to a set of questions he agreed to ahead of time?

:)

Well, it's Sunday and I read the Q&A's again just for a refresher. They still sounded better this week.
