| Great!
I have an SX and a Radeon 9250 PCI in the closet. Waiting for the update and then installing it in my 1200 tower system. Thanks Elbox. _________________ AmigaOne-XE G3 OS 4. A4000 PPC A1200 PPC

| In one of my server, there is an ati 9250 PCI gfx card. She had been waiting for this moment, to happen...
So ok, all of the pci cards acces time will be faster with this card compared to for example a voodoo 3000, because of the memory of the ati card. (DDR 200MHz/128bit.)
But can i use warp3d games with this card? Last edited by Derringer on 16-Mar-2008 at 10:27 AM.

Of course! I have a Radeon 9250 (like many others), and I used to have a 7000, in my A1 and 256 color mode is no problem. PPaint requires it and there is no problem running that on a Radeon. I would find it extremely hard to believe that the A1200 version of the driver wouldn't support 256 color mode.

Not sure. The 256 color mode is palette based so it is not impossible that the palette and all pixels on the screen can change in realtime, as with ECS/AGA. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| @Chaoslord
For 256 colors, look at the screenmode-screenshot, you can select an 8-bit screenmode. |

| Does it support 2 colour mode ?

The Radeon PCI card can be used in the Mediator systems together with the Voodoo gfx card, which allows work on two (or more) monitors simultaneousely.

What's the use of this when the Radeon already has the ability to manage two screens ? Btw, is the dual display so well mentionned in the Radeon specs by Elbox supported ? What about 3D support ? (after all this is all the Radeon is about...) What about TV-Out ?Last edited by Leo on 16-Mar-2008 at 02:45 PM. Last edited by Leo on 16-Mar-2008 at 02:45 PM.

| And nothink about warp3d support (most interesting feature of more or less modern pci cards in slow/classic amiga). And yes, looks pretty strange, that elbox just cant put on the web latest drivers. Also we all remembre that latest voodoo drivers pretty buggy, and still not have fixes. Looks like drivers for Radeons, will be see day of light like dragon or shark maybe ? _________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites

| Warp3D drivers for Radeon on Mediator? Is this question for Elbox or for Elbox and Hyperion together? Hyperion prepared Warp3D Voodoo + Mediator combo. Couple of days ...
What is latest PCI Radeon and most modern PCI grphic card? NVidia, Matrox, SIS? Last edited by Comi on 17-Mar-2008 at 03:47 PM.
