The first release of Gnumeric 1.6.3 is now available on OS4-depot. Gnumeric
is a spreadsheet, which is part of the Gnome Office Suite.

GetSysInfo is a program I use to get system informations while installing Gnumeric. It's coded by me and there seems to be a bug in it.

I've found the bug 
Funny: It only happend with activated greek locale while detecting the language code. Here you can download a fixed binary:
GetSysInfo 1.1
Please copy the binary to "Gnumeric-1.6.3/install-data/C" and try it again!

Everything is included. Basically you need the Cygnix base package prerelease 3 (x11.lha), the update for Pre 3 and the gnumeric package - nothing else!Last edited by CygnusEd on 14-Apr-2008 at 05:11 PM.

| It works ! Kudos to your effort!
Now it opens in native Greek enviroment (all the menues & even the .xls files). What I've noticed is an altered X-server enviroment. There is a "No execute access to Cygnix/Home/Root" error, marked as a "fatal condition" requesting the "right permissions" and 3 options: Ignoring the requester, restarting, or just quiting the Enlightement. (Same goes for the previously installed Gimp application)

Hmm - very strange problem. Are the protection bits of Cygnix:CygnixPPC/root still "rwed"?
