hardware OS4   hardware OS4 : AfA OS 4.2

AfA_OS 4.2

Removing a bug in the skinning code that did not always set the screen structure right,
which had the result that some windows were opened too small and their contents
were overdrawn by the window border - for example "tsgui".

The compatibility of the skinning code has been improved for Finalwriter and for Cybershow and PhotoAlbum.

  • Bugfixing and enhancement of morelibspace by Thomas Klein.
  • Now Memory are always allocated with the attribute KICK, the priority of the Resident set up to 104, Versionstring integrated and Version set up to 46.0.
  • "REVERSE" Switch integrated for allocating Memory with this attribute.

"!!! Attention morelibspace does not function on all Systems with all options (Switches) !!!"

If you have problems use blitzkick and morelibspace as a module

  • New version support access for 3rd party programs to draw skin elements (image buttons with alpha channel support) .

  • But the sad news is that the MCP which uses afa skin images for gadtools replacement is currently not released.

You can find the new binary here (LHA archive).

@bernd_afa

This is great, but I have one question, does the skins support all buttons like VisualPrefs does?

In 4.1 it doesn´t work for all images (reaction, dopus and mui for example) or was it that the skins didn´t have the images?

Anyway, it´s really a nice piece of software and I will try it NOW

what corruption do you mean ?
when use antialiased font in dopus then no background pattern in filelisters can use.
there can nothing do without change dopus

dopus draw several time text without clear the old text.

and when some pixels written in 10% dark, then a second text write draw all pixels 20% dark.and this is in case of AA text wrong.only 100% dark or 0% dark can work if the program do not erase the background pattern.

The other buttons as MUI reaction are currently not add.in MOS there seem too some old programs(kingcon dopus) not use new buttons.what happen in OS4 and kingkon dopus magellan i dont know.

I add this some times later, with help of MCP author it is less work to find a solution

I´m glad to hear that, I think that visualprefs uses a custom image class, I think its the tbimage class, maybe the information that is in the visualprefs archive could help you.

By the way, AfA4.2 works really well

hi James,

AIAB 10r.6 won't boot with EUAE wip4 because of 'morelibspace'. Thanks for the note:
