AISS V4.2 is available on the AISS section of the Masonicons website.

Features:
- 1885 toolbar images and animations.
- 24 bit PNG images with 8 bit alpha channel
- PDF documentation
- AmiUpdate support

Warning! The installation process may take some time and no progress requester will be displayed.

AISS is a system to store, access and maintain toolbar images under AmigaOS.
Updates for other platforms than AmigaOS 4.0 are currently under development.

Thanks, Mason.

Note that if AISS is already installed and loaded, AmiUpdate will fail to update some bits. It WILL note this in a CLI output shell, but - won't set AU to retry, so it's possible you get a 'partial' upgrade.

It would be nice if there's a way to fix this, but otherwise:
- remove AISS from WBStartup
- reboot
- Then use AU to update AISS
- reboot and be happy.

AISS 4.2 for alternative and classic systems is now in the upload queue to Aminet waiting to be moderated.

Wgester: actually, you don't need to remove anything from WBStartup.

When updating, be sure to have all applications using AISS closed. Then type "avail flush" in a shell and then restart AmiUpdate. It worked for me without any problem
