| Thanks Mason, glad to continue to support AISS in our programs (specifically, AmiArcadia and Report+).
Please don't forget us OS3.9 users though Last edited by Minuous on 12-May-2008 at 09:10 AM.

| Thanks, Mason.
Note that if AISS is already installed and loaded, AmiUpdate will fail to update some bits. It WILL note this in a CLI output shell, but - won't set AU to retry, so it's possible you get a 'partial' upgrade.
It would be nice if there's a way to fix this, but otherwise: - remove AISS from WBStartup - reboot - Then use AU to update AISS - reboot and be happy. _________________ Are we not done with the same silly arguments and flames yet??!

AISS 4.2 for alternative and classic systems is now in the upload queue to Aminet waiting to be moderated.
Edit: It is available now! Link: http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/aiss4.2_alt
@Wegster
That's strange! I will try to investigate! Last edited by Mason on 12-May-2008 at 08:31 PM.

| Wgester: actually, you don't need to remove anything from WBStartup.
When updating, be sure to have all applications using AISS closed. Then type "avail flush" in a shell and then restart AmiUpdate. It worked for me without any problem _________________ PowerMac G5 2,7Ghz - 2GB - Radeon 9650 - MorphOS 3.14 AmigaONE X1000, 2GB, Sapphire Radeon HD 7700 FPGA Replay + DB 68060 at 85Mhz
