Events   Events : Nearly time for the July 26-27 CommVEx v4!
posted by RobertB on 15-Jul-2008 7:41:12 (3040 reads)
Greetings, C= and Ami enthusiasts,

With less than 2 weeks to go, things are ramping up for the Commodore Vegas Expo v4. All the exhibits are being gathered, all the raffle prizes are being counted, and all the disks and videos are being inventoried. Too many systems to get ready - PET 4032, NTSC and PAL VIC-20s, NTSC and PAL C64s, NTSC and PAL Plus/4s, NTSC and PAL C128Ds, A500, A1200, and AmigaOne. My level of stress rises as each day passes, the fateful weekend ever getting nearer!

We have a good number of presentations this year and presenters coming from far and wide, such as Loadstar's Dave Moorman of Holly, Colorado and Amiga Forever's Michael Battilana from Venice, Italy!

For more information about CommVEx v4, go to http://www.portcommodore.com/commvex and for the frequently-updated info, go to http://www.commodore.ca/forum and click on ComVEX.

It's still not too late to book accommodations at the CommVEx hotel, the Plaza Hotel & Casino. As of today, a standard room was going for $48 a night for Friday and Saturday and $33 for Sunday night (not including room tax). Go to http://www.plazahotelcasino.com

Go CommVEx!

excellent location for a computer show.

would be even better a show if Hyperion sent OS4.1 to demo for the USA (nint, hint)

Gook luck with the show.

Yeah, back before CommVEx v1, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon were considered.
