| I'm not against updating the OS4 port but as I had almost no feedback from previous ports I supposed that there was no interest in it. It's the same with the Koules OS4 port. _________________ AOS 4.1 : I dream it, Hyperion did it ! Now dreaming AOS 4.2... Thank you to all devs involved for this great job !

| @abalaban:
Looking at the Aminet and OS4Depot stats, I see 571 downloads of the OS4 version in 3 months, so that seems fairly popular for an OS4 program. Also, anyone who downloaded it from your website won't be counted in those figures, so the real number is higher than that.
Also, having a port such as this does help OS4 to get a bit more coverage in the mainstream emulation community, since Ami/WinArcadia releases are tracked closely by all major emulation news sites.
@all:
Aminet seems fine now, and the program has appeared there. Last edited by Minuous on 01-Aug-2008 at 12:20 AM. Last edited by Minuous on 01-Aug-2008 at 12:18 AM. Last edited by Minuous on 01-Aug-2008 at 12:11 AM. Last edited by Minuous on 31-Jul-2008 at 11:30 PM.

I'm interested for example
Aniway would be nice if you can update the OS4 native version almost to the latest 7.5a, from 7.0b there are a LOT of fixes and improvement, really ! _________________ BACK FOR THE FUTURE

Problem with this stats is that since some time now search engines started to index lha archives this somehow tricks the real stat numbers... (for example my own website got over 1100 hits by Yahoo! Slurp !!). As for my own website there was : 8 downloads in May, 23 in June and 10 in July. Also as we have not much things to test during the summer, many people just download everything that gets out just to give it one try. But anyway as there is at least one person (samo) interested in it I'll do an update, but I'm currently preparing the house for my coming first child so I have very little time to spare currently.
PS: Oh and last time I tried the 68k version wasn't working under OS4 on A1 (I guess it's because of the anologic joystick part). Last edited by abalaban on 01-Aug-2008 at 08:26 AM.

Of course, and congratulations

Yes. Maybe I should add some kind of switch to disable them. There were some other bugs (eg. ReAction-related bugs) which have been since been fixed which might have also been causing problems.

I'll retest your latest 68k version on my A1/OS4, however please note that it could very well work under OS4 for Classic as required hardware is present, I don't know as I don't have it...
PS: I looked at the diff, I think I'll release an update soon (maybe this night) _________________ AOS 4.1 : I dream it, Hyperion did it ! Now dreaming AOS 4.2... Thank you to all devs involved for this great job !

Would be good if someone can try the latest version of AA on OS4 to be able to report some remain bug to Minuous _________________ BACK FOR THE FUTURE

| @Minuous :
yes of cours, I just did not do it yet becaue I was in hurry and the online upload form is currently down on Aminet, as a consequence I should check that the os4 readme is correct before uploading.
EDIT: can someone also modify the news, so the OS4 version is updated to 7.5a ? Last edited by abalaban on 04-Aug-2008 at 12:17 PM.

OK, thanks, I will upload them now.
I don't think it's possible for me to edit the news item, I'm afraid a moderator will have to do that for us |

| It seems to be packed using lh6 compression, latest Amiga LhA can handle these but LZX, UNIX LhA, WinRAR etc. cannot. I unpacked and repacked the archive for the Aminet release, so please try the version from Aminet, it should be fine. |
