Ian has asked me to email you to send his apologies that unfortunately Graham Matthews Youth Centre is unavailable for your provisional booking of 20th September. This is because the photography project that is being held on the same day now involves the use of digital cameras, so the young people will need to use the computers in the back room.

Thank you for informing me of the cancellation.

I was under the impression I had booked the room, date, timings and price agreed, booking form completed ?

The only caveat was the outdoor group would need access to the toilets. Which as discussed would have been no problem."

This is a shame. I gather that you guys are having problems find suitable places. MAG (and CWCCC beforehand) have been lucky with our connections at our local church. I don't think any of our members are particularly religious, but it's not a great problem.

I imagine that you have tried the churches in your area, but that would be my first port of call in a new area if I had to find somewhere to run an event. I've had it suggested too that the universities may be a viable option for meetings, but again I think you have to have connections to pull that off successfully these days.

Anyway - best of luck with sorting out a venue. If you don't find anything before Sat 1st November you are all more than welcome at the MAG UK Bash just down the M69 from you all in Coventry.

We are having a commitee meeting at my place on Sat the 20th and will discuss future venues as well as a visit to MAG Bash :)
