| As I go through the pictures it's interesting how things have started to change...
I notice things like the "modern" case around the 'new' MiniMig with it's cool Blue LEDs, there is obviously the Touch Screen display for SAM, new mother boards around the place, the new Amiga OS being used. Flat panel monitors of course are everywhere. We sort of look more modern.
Maybe there is some hope for our future Good times ahead! _________________ A3000D (16mhz, 2MB Chip, 4MB Fast, SCSI (300+MB), SuperGen Genlock, Kick 3.1) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back in my day, we didn't have water. | Nice photos. Does the MUIBase ERP application have an official website, or some place with more information about it? A search via google brings up just a few scattered references.

Have you ever seen one up close? (A Sam board, I mean, not a Ben Hermans. )
I don't think there would be any room for anybody's signature.

I don't think so. The only place I saw a link, it led to Christoph's mail address, which was (at) rmsvideo.ch. And http://www.rmsvideo.ch/ does serve a page, but there's not really any information (at least yet).
I'd expect Relec to be involved in providing a page for it, once it gets finished.

Concerning the MUIBase ERP application from RMS Communications, no more official web page for the moment... but soon
After Colmar, and the 1st place at the Innovation Trophies, with important benefits in press and potential - professional - contacts, Christoph@RMS has now much work
Stay tuned...
For the moment, I have translated (with Google, sorry ;) these specifications given by Christoph for the Trophies :
Quote:
For the ERP: it is developing for over 2 years ... it is not yet completed and continues to be improved, with the help of the author of MUIBase, Steffen Gutmann. The application is based on our ideas / needs ... Steffen find solutions to achieve programming. In parallel Steffen adapts, updates occur MUIBase for our needs. In fact, our application has helped several updates / improvements MUIBase.
Currently manages the application (not exhaustive)
- The addresses of customers and suppliers, - Various reports on customers as "How many orders during a period for a client, or by customer net margins achieved ... or ranges for all customers jones a period ... - Materials Management 1st and management of material stocks 1st and invoices from suppliers - Items we sell, price calculations buying automatic since 1st materials - Management projects and orders in relation to these projects, stocks finished products, planning, orders to suppliers and Bulletins Delivery, various lists, preview of each project in pdf, calculation margins, total sales, automatic creation of labels for files ... - Billing it is being integrated, so I do not know if this function will be to storm the expo ... - Time management implementation, per employee ... - List, many list ... order list, customer or supplier or for all, it is possible to list when we received the order, when it is partly printed, when it was delivered, billed, paid ...
To facilitate the development, application is in English, but from the complete integration of billing I translate it into French ...
Regarding MUIBase many will be quite interesting happen but I prefer to leave Steffen announce the ...
That is more or less the opportunities offered to us.

To conclude, RMS won the Trophy because of : multiplatform application (MorphOS, AmigaOS, Linux, Windows), reactive, interactive, intuitive, already complete and easy to adapt to customers and companies. The jury was really excited and impressed (and there was a specialist of ERP in the jury).

That's Elwood. I believe the T-shirt is (still) available from Cloanto (http://www.cloanto.com/). There's a whole range of them with various "nerdy" references on them.
