| Excellent news.
I filled up the order form on Reg.Net, for 1 copy of WarpView. Then I submitted the order and I didn't get a confirmation page saying my order went through. Last edited by AmigaClyde on 18-Jan-2009 at 12:50 AM.

| AmigaCycle: If you did not get a confirmation then it probably did not go through. You should drop them an EMail though to confirm. |

| From a quick play it seams very cool, but hardware mode dose not work correctly on my sam440ep.
If I enable warp3d mode the colours all turn mad rainbow colours. _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

That is due to a bug in the Warp3D driver on the Sam. If you change to 16-bit (by enabling the DEPTH=16 tooltype) then you will get correct colours. |

| @All in the meantime I released another version (v1.03) which fixes some nasty bugs that slipped into the 1.02 release, so if you downloaded 1.02, make sure you update to 1.03 instead, it's already on OS4Depot.
Maybe a moderator could put this information into the original news item? I don't think it's a good idea to make another news item for it. |

| @COBRA Thanks for the quick response after waiting so long to get a sam440 I was feeling a bit nervous that I may have had a hardware problem as I dont have any other software that uses warp3d yet.
I have to say I am very impressed with WarpView and will register it when I get my next pay check.
Now for a feature request it would be nice to have the option of using a mouse click to move to the next picture. _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

Don't worry, the OS4.1 for Sam is still in beta state and some things (most notably Warp3D) are not 100% yet.
The problem with using mouse buttons for going to next image is that all of the mouse buttons are already occupied for other functions, Left=Scroll, Right=Menu, Middle=3D rotate. The only thing I could do is to switch to the next image when left mouse button is clicked but the picture is not zoomed in (e.g. there's nothing to scroll around in with the LMB). But in this case, if you are zoomed in, it would not be possible to go to the next picture with the left mouse button, so it'd be only a half solution... |

| What about the back and forward buttons on most USB mouse found on the side are they usable under OS4?
I was just thinking it would be nice to be able to control the picture from my cordless USB tracker ball or mouse if I connect my sam440 to my projector to show photo's. _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

I will have a look at what's available for that in the OS4 API. |
