| May be they plan the Cover CD of the magazine to become CoverDVD, which will be great - much more data can be stored, but may lead to another problem. Who would be able to fill in a whole DVD per 2 months basis with Amiga content? But it would be cool to have whole CD images of old CD32 games on the DVD for example. Or full video guides, long plays etc.. _________________ Games, programs, reviews

| I have 2 DVD drives. Both are accessible to my A1200T via Ethernet network.
If you start publishing cover DVDs that will allow me to release the new 1 GB version of Total Chaos! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! _________________ Wanna try a wonderfull magical Amiga strategy game? Total Chaos AGA

The question was:- Quote:
Do you have access to a DVD drive? It is not necessary that it is connected to a Amiga. |
So i would surmise that they want to distribute some DVD's, maybe some of AmiTV stuff or the footage on youtube etc. But that is just my guess. _________________ Peter Swallow. A1XEG3-800 [IBM 750FX PowerPC], running OS4.1FE, using ac97 onboard sound.

| Okay, this is short for: DVD-R (Single Layer) Bytes: 4,707,319,808 DVD+R (Single Layer) Bytes: 4,700,372,992
I'll guess that most disks are DVD-R since that was the earlier format Anyone know? _________________ http://www.hostcove.com http://www.youtube.com/hostcove Sam460 : X1000 : X5000

| @Troels:
Is very interesting for us :)
@drHirudo
Its a nice idea and i like it. But can do :/ The cost for a CoverDVD are 3x higher as for a CoverCD. The other problem are that not all (special Classic Amiga User) have a dvd-dive at his Amiga. _________________ Andreas Magerl APC&TCP - Home of Amiga Future Publisher for Amiga Software, Merchandising and many more. http://www.apc-tcp.de - https://www.amigafuture.de - https://www.amigashop.org
