Software News   Software News : Amiga Future: New Full Versions Online
posted by AndreasM on 8-Apr-2009 9:08:25 (2760 reads)
The download area of the Amiga Future homepage has been updated again.

There are new full versions online.

New downloads are highlighted in the download database. Additionally there is an overview of new downloads at the lower border of the download page.

Furthermore there have been updates to the descriptions and screenshots of some downloads.

We always look for contact with programmers and copyright holders to publish more full versions online. If someone knows someone who knows some other please drop us an email. :)

Issue 77 of the Amiga Future has been released on 5th March. The magazine is available directly at the editorial office and some Amiga dealers

How come this news item doesn't say anything about what the "full versions" really are? And where is the "download area"? Why don't you provide a proper link? All in all - where is your sense for good PR?

To put it another way - you sadly fail to properly address your potential target audience in the way that can and should be expected of you. If you really want to reach out, I suggest you put some effort in it, in a less lukewarm way.

@Petah

>I suggest you put some effort in it

Good way to motivate people!

Personally, I can't think of many Amigans who put in as much (unpaid) effort as Andreas!

That's all well and good, but if his effort is wasted because you can't see his work.....he achieves nothing but frustrating people time and time again and invites criticism.

I guess a link is too much to ask. I am sick to death of trying to navigate around THE most badly designed and most frustrating websites I have ever seen. And that is just my attempt to get to this download, let alone trying to subscibe to anything. Abandon ye all hope.

Can some good samaritan who has waded through this abomination of a website to find said download, kindly post a link?

Did you not read lionstorm's post?

I fail to see how the "Latest Downloads" link could be much clearer!

Dont understand why the users dont use the the direct-link to the download-database :(

and dont read the text "New downloads are highlighted in the download database. Additionally there is an overview of new downloads at the lower border of the download page." :/
