btw, how about a recompile of eurochart with this new version of sdl?

I could do, but since Amiga version strings support only support version & revision, you'd only be able to tell that its SDL-1.2. I guess the name part could contain the "Xeron Unofficial Build" version

| Much against my better judgement, I added a subrevision system to AmiUpdate for all these "ports" that are appearing. So if you wanted to put 1.2.13 in the version string, at least AmiUpdate would handle it.

| Why not just make the sub-revision part of the revision for Amiga versioning (e.g. SDL 1.2.13 would be Amiga version SDL 1.213)? I also have to wonder why everyone seems to be afraid of big version and revision numbers. I don't think I've ever seen version 999.999 of any program

I've never programmed on the Amiga  so i really don't know what the "standard" is (if any) btw if one choose to use as revision/minor the svn commit/revision counters you can easily reach numbers in the hundreds.
