| Thx a lot man! It has replaced Transmission on my system. Only thing I wish for the next release is a download and - especially - an upload limiter. It'd be nice if there was an optional docky showing the up/down rate when ctorrent is iconified, but it's not really important. Again, thx for your great work :) |

| Not good work at all.
I have used previous version to download a torrent from a private torrent tracker. Torrent file around 600mbs, download time around 20 mins. When I update my profile status, I saw that the tracker has charged me for downloading 700 TB (yes, that's TerraBytes). Of course my ratio was destroyed, my IP permanently banned and my membership to the community private tracker screwed totally after 4 years of involvement.

| How fast is your link? At 10 Mbps, it would take over 19 years to download 700 TB. Edit: My point is that they have their heads up their asses. Download ratios are so 80's. Edit2: Besides, isn't BitTorrent supposed to be self-regulating? The popularity of the content should determine its availability (more downloaders = more uploaders), not the overzealous ideaology of a few tracker administrators. Edit3: And if you tended to seed, they've only lessened the value of their tracker by banning you. I don't think they understand the economics of BitTorrent bandwidth.
