| Thanks for taking the time to do the port kas1e... Runs OK at 640x480 on my Micro - text scroller is jerky but the music plays fine which is the main thing. Some nice tunes too. _________________ A600 OS3.1 ACA620 | '030 A1200 OS3.5 | µA1-C 750GX OS4.1 | SAM460 OS4.1 | '040 A3000 OS2.1 | Christian Aid |

| I was very surprised to see that a 'simple' scroller & not much else took 100% of CPU time on my Sam, even for a 640x480 window. Maybe not easy to fix without a complete rewrite? _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue...

| @ChrisH Yep, it will be better to rewrite at all :) But mainly it was coded on winxp and it was first prods from that coder => engine are jerky.
But still, i think that it better that nothing. I trying a bit to invisitgate what cause that problem with so simply, but slow text scrolling, and, very possible that it because of our MiniGL and SDL+MiniGL combo, where is some alpha blend fucntions are software only (and not HW accelerated).
I will try later to compile it for MorphOS, to see, where is problem (raw cpu power, bad code at all, or aos4 realisation of opengl). Last edited by kas1e on 24-May-2010 at 02:47 PM.
