Great news!

But OS4 support is a critical feature missing. :(

Congratulation to Amigakit and to your partners E3B and Individual Computers!

It's always a pleasure to introduce a new hardware part to our Amiga Classic

Is Hyperion still doesn't want to support their OS4 For Classic registered users?

But like Crumb said in this post
"Since Joerg Strohmayer was totally against the idea of supporting additional memory (hence the lack of support of motherboard/dkb3128/fastlane ram) I wonder if they'll release any update. He'll claim that swap memory would be faster and more compatible and that you shouldn't use other memory that is not in CSPPC bus but will leave users without any update to use swap memory."

It looks funny to me that it's possible to have a Amiga OS 3.9 with 1.2Gb of Ram while Amiga OS4 For Classic users will get stuck with 128 Mb on the same machine! Don't you think?

I guess that Hyperion is too busy with their MAP ... the AmigaOne X1000 and I can understand that patching the kernel of AmigaOS 4 For Classic for too few Cyberstorm PPC and Blizzard PPC legacy hardware is a lack of time but why not offer an update to use swap memory

Yeah, this is very stupid. 128mb is enough for OS3.9 use but OS4.0 Classic users could probably do with more! Where's the OS4.0 Classic support?

Well with OS4, it looks like they dumped AutoConfig and proper OS integrated ROM drivers for Windows like disk based drivers.

So no wonder it isn't supported. But still, surely, they can allow support for these cards. Perhaps BindDrivers is too late, but having a kernel module would help IMHO, since it is the OS4 disk way.

I also wonder, OTOH, does this have MorphOS Classic support?

Morphos for Amiga Classic PPC is free of charge so I won't blame MorphOS team for the lack of support of the ZorRam Card.

But it's an other story about Amiga OS 4.0 For Classic. I paid the full price for the licence fee and a few month after they droped the price. And since that time no update ...

I think that Amiga OS 4.0 For Classic is a dead end, so better use AOS 4.X on Amiga NG like the Sam or soon the Amiga One X1000.

Ok I forget this one, The main changes in this update is the support of the new mediator TX and I don't have Elbox Mediator. Yep some Arexx Lib missing, a new version of DvPlayer SE, Updated RealTek 8029 network driver,etc...

Amiga OS 4 For Classic release date 23 October, 2007 and last and only update on the 23. February, 2008. Since that time no update, still no more than 128MB of ram on Cyberstorm PPC and 256 MB on Blizzard PPC but without SCSI Support. I expected more support for a full licence fee... Like I said it's a dead end.
