| Cool. Guess I have an advantage, being in there already with the arexx and pop up window and stuff.
Don't know much about sound card drivers in general though. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

That's sad, hope this doesn't mean the end of development ... _________________ BACK FOR THE FUTURE

| Is there something in particular that needs fixing in Mixer? I can't think of anything I'd need. _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power

| Does the current version include AREXX controls? I always thought standard MIDI controls might be useful, that might be the easiest way to add them.

I got the request from Raziel (and others) for saving the state of the Mute buttons. If one can make that (should be relatively simple), he would be very happy! _________________ Audio Evolution http://www.audio-evolution.com

Basically, I haven't done that much for AmigaOS in the last 5 years, so if I spend time on something else for a couple of months, you won't notice much anyway. I still visit AW, Amigans, Aros-Exec daily though. But it's true, I don't actually use (any) AmigaOS and haven't used it for quite some years. Only for some small paid developments or bug fixes.
And nobody gains anything if I just sit on my source code. It's not as if I can not change the source code later on myself if I feel like it. It's just that many more people can change it now. _________________ Audio Evolution http://www.audio-evolution.com

Yes, Mixer has Arexx support indeed and it was not implemented by myself: people should now see the usefullness of opening up the source! _________________ Audio Evolution http://www.audio-evolution.com

Thank you for opening Mixer sources and for all the time you've (already) dedicated to us, in particular for AROS drivers and audio-evolution port.
@Samo79
Generally speaking, opening sources of a program doesn't mean stopping development of it, on the contrary, it gives more people the power to bring it up. |

If I can compile the current sources I'll give a shot at adding that feature. _________________ AlexC's free OS4 software collection

| The source compiled without error. Got lots of warnings though but I'll fix them when I'm more familiar with the code. I'm about to put Mixer on the SVN and then I'll start work on adding the mute state to the list of saved settings. _________________ AlexC's free OS4 software collection

| @AlexC Nice one! I'm not skilled enough at the moment to contribute, but I wondered what other fixes were planned? AHI support perhaps (at the moment AHI is bypassed)? |
