Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : Amitopia TV - Return of Castle Wolfenstein
   posted by AmiDelf2 on 27-Nov-2010 18:04:35 (3083 reads)
Just wanted to say Hello from -11C in Oslo, Norway. Since its so cold outside, I felt like I had to put my Christmas gloves on and make another Amitopia TV for you.

This time I focus on AmiReporters. But I also experimenting with implementing reports about 3D software engines and other things too with Amiga News bar on the bottom. Like a local tv network with a newsticker.

Hope you will like the show. Contribute all of you which have anything to show which is related to Amiga.

Very nice!
I like the shorter format. Shorter and more frequent is good.
Keep up the good work!

So before I go watch this, does the title of this news item mean we have RTCW ported to the Amiga now?

News item is lacking a bit of detail.

Sad that only screenshots, and not actual game-play video. Pretty interesting to see how it works, and how fast is it.

Looked like RTCW port for MorphOS - wasnt paying full attention whilst it was on but no moving images, looked nice enough though...

It was supposed to be shown at Amiga Meeting in Bad Bramstedt, but that didn't happen. With the new 3D drivers for MorphOS, it will be possible, but when it will be out is not for sure.

I like to see whats happening on both sides. Did you like the extra feature of Next Generation 3D Engine? Is this something you want more of or less? Is it good to have to fill in the show or not?

"It was supposed to be shown at Amiga Meeting in Bad Bramstedt, but that didn't happen" - the woot? rtcw (is that what you talking about) has been shown and even released to visitors in a pre-rellease form at that meeting. and the game just runs fine on morphos already i can assure you:) if you was talkin about something else, then i apologize and i'd like to know what was your subject then:)

Then I should apologize, since I only heard about that its not on the show. So its my fault. Sorry. But that info is only here, not in the video :) Thanks for pointing out. Is there any video showing whats really happened at Amiga Meeting at all? Send it and I will show it very soon :)
