Software News : Patch fixes installation of Icaros 1.2.5 and adds new features

A little (22 KB) patch has been released on the Icaros Desktop website. It fixes installation of Icaros Desktop Live! from USB pendrives and add to both versions of the distribution (Light and Live!) two new features: a fancy new Zune theme that enhances the look of most applications, and the ability to create thumbnail icons for image files, which slightly improves handling pictures with Wanderer. This patch needs a working installation of Icaros Desktop 1.2.5. More informations and a screenshot on the Icaros Website:
I'm currently using the latest ICAROS Desktop, and I'm impressed! There is a bunch of s/w preinstalled (all of which is well known to the Amiga community), and has a well polished version of OWB with a nice integrated download & bookmark manager. Very promising!

I'm happy you like it. I consider it a little more than promising this time: it's now the main OS of my netbook and I have a dedicated PC with 3D acceleration that runs just fine. =)
