Nice. I was waiting for the usual Christmas release of the new version of Simple Mail to come out.

I use SimpleMail everyday so many thanks for the update & Merry Christmas

This Version still has the same bug that doesn't make it usable on AOS4.
When you get new emails, and select an email in the upper part of the right window, its content is not displayed in the lower part of the right window. You only can see the header of the email, not the body with the text message. After double clicking on the email, a seperate window opens and then you can read the email and then you also can see the text in the lower part of the right window the next time when the email is selected again.
This happens with IMAP (POP3 -- haven't tested. I'm only in the need of an Amiga IMAP client ..)

Wrote about that bug probably a year ago to the simplemail mailing list.

Fetching emails from IMAP folders causes also an ignorable GrimReaper (but in bsdsocket.library, i think).

And switching to different folders causes also a GrimReaper which crashes SimpleMail completely. (So, I can confirm the bug which Valiant immediately found)  

At least sending of email via SMTP/SSL does now work. Good!

A MUI bug I thing, is the one that marks the latest unread post as read when you start the program. Haven`t tested the latest version though I think it persists.

It does work if you use a pop server so it seems to be an issue with imap only.

I also noted that I got a DSI error on starting SimpleMail if I use Masons images but not with the default images that comes with SimpleMail.

I´m back in 2023 on Classic Amiga with my A1200/Blizzard1230IB@50Mhz, 32MB RAM, AmigaOS3.2 and ROMs, Indivision AGA MK3, Author of Amiga-Flipclock (OS4)

New version works well here under 4.1 u2. But I have everything set up with POP3 on my Amiga. Easier to keep accounts cleaned up. I only use IMAP on the phone.
